Litografia. Foglio 450x315. Iscrizioni: in alto a sin. “N° 42”; in basso a sinistra “Boucher inv”; al centro “Imp. Lemercier Paris”; a sinistra “Emile Wattier del”. Sotto il Titolo. Lieve diffuso foxing ai margini e piccolo strappetto sul margine inferiore, buono stato di conservazione. 

Bella stampa di un’opera di gusto campestre del celebre pittore francese del ‘700, disegnata magistralmente da Wattier e impressa in litografia da Lemercier, il più importante litografo francese dell’epoca, che riuscì a trasformare l’incisione litografica da operazione artigianale a impresa industriale.

Lithography. Sheet 450x315. Iscriptions. Slight spread foxing on the margins and little rip on the lower margin. Good condition.

Beautiful print of a country-style work by the famous French painter of the 18th century, masterfully designed by Wattier and printed in lithography by Lemercier, the most important French lithographer of the time, who managed to transform the lithographic engraving from an artisanal operation to an enterprise industrial.
