Olio su tela. Due quadri incorniciati a rombo. Ognuno di 450x295 mm. Buono stato di conservazione.  

Bella coppia di ritratti di personaggi arabi, nel gusto orientalista del XIX secolo. Il guerriero, armato con scimitarra e fucile, reca il monogramma del pittore ‘G L.’ Particolare la forma a rombo dei due dipinti.

Oil on canvas. Two paintings with a rhombus frame. Each with measures of 450x295. Good condition.

Beautiful pair of portraits of Arab characters, in the orientalist taste of the nineteenth century. The warrior, armed with a scimitar and rifle, bears the monogram of the painter 'G L.' The rhombus shape of the two paintings is particular.
