Elaborate imaginary architectural scenery, skillfully blending ancient ruins and Baroque buildings with Egyptian and Gothic elements, which the Venetian painter and engraver had seen during his travels to France, Italy and Germany. It was included in a series published in Venice in 1771 by Giuseppe Lante. This two print is present at the British Museum, described: Interior of a ruined temple, a large statue of Hercules at right, in the foreground by a waterway are three men.
