2 tavole con 4 scene incise all’acquaforte. Fogli mm. 230x345. Margini. Versi in italiano sotto le immagini. Buono stato di conservazione. 


Rarissima serie con quattro scene tratte dai quadridi Longhi. Fra queste la celebre “Lezione di ballo”; ogni tavola è illustratada quattro versi in rima. Il Museo di Bassano possiede solo uno di questifogli, ma non è censito quello con la lezione di ballo, scena che fu incisaanche da Charles Joseph Flipart, la cui tavola è accompagnata dai medesimiversi qui presenti “Mentre la vaga e leggiadretta Clori”.

Very rare series with four scenes taken from Longhi's paintings. Among these the famous "Dance lesson"; each table is illustrated by four rhyming verses. The Bassano Museum has only one of these sheets, but the one with the dance lesson is not recorded, a scene that was also engraved by Charles Joseph Flipart, whose plate is accompanied by the same verses present here "While the vague and fairy Chloris"
