Antico tappeto tribale Turco della regione di Bergama

Misure: 132x116,5 cm. Il tappeto ha un'usura uniforme e un pelo medio, in buone condizioni. 

Un tappeto etnico dell'Anatolia occidentale con un design tradizionale che si trova anche nei tappeti precedenti. Questo tappeto presenta una straordinaria gamma di decorazioni con motivi geometrici e simbolici che hanno un significato universale e trascendono i confini nazionali. Il tappeto ha una trama grossolana e tonalità di colore molto terrose. L'estremità inferiore è piuttosto irregolare nella forma, caratteristica tipica dei manufatti tribali. I colori dominanti sono il rosso e il bianco, ma compaiono anche il blu scuro, il verde e il giallo, usati nei tappeti più antichi. 
Il tappeto è altamente decorativo, ed è composto con ornamenti geometrici tipici dei tappeti tribali e particolarmente delle popolazioni nomadi di etnia turca. I motivi decorativi sono vari, Risaltano gli otto medaglioni ottagonali sui cui bordi corrono a zig-zag i tipici ganci di chiusura. Questo modello è associato alla tribù degli Yoruk, nomadi dell’Anatolia.

Measurements: 132x116.5 cm. The rug has even wear and medium pile, good condition. 

A very rustic West Anatolian rug with a traditional design that is also found in earlier rugs. . This carpet features an amazing array of geometric and symbolic patterned decorations that have universal significance and transcend national borders. The rug has a coarse weave and very earthy colour tones. as can be seen the lower end is quite uneven in shape adding to the rustic charm. The dominant colors are red and white, but dark blue, green and yellow also appear, used in the oldest carpets.
The carpet is highly decorative, and is composed with geometric ornaments typical of tribal rugs and particularly of the nomadic populations of Turkish ethnicity. The decorative motifs are varied. The eight octagonal medallions stand out, with the typical broad zig-zag borders with latch hooks. This model is associated with the Yoruk tribe, nomads from Anatolia.
