Paolo Manuzio (1512-1574), il figlio più giovane di Aldo, fu un editore molto influente e uno dei più importanti umanisti del tardo Rinascimento italiano. Questo è il secondo volume di tre, pubblicato separatamente, dell'Opera Rhetorica, a cura di Paulus Manutius con il testo basato sull'edizione del 1546 e corretto da Manuzio stesso.
Cicerone fu uno statista, giurista e studioso romano, Il più grande oratore della tarda Repubblica. Il volume è una notevole raccolta delle sue opere di retorica, in cui presenta i canoni di questa complessa disciplina, la sua storia e insegna come usarla.

Paolo Manuzio (1512-1574), the youngest son of Aldo, was a very influential publisher and one of the most important humanists of the late Italian Renaissance. This is the second volume of three, published separately, of the Opera Rhetorica, edited by Paulus Manutius with the text based on the 1546 edition and corrected by Manuzio himself.
Cicero was a Roman statesman, jurist and scholar, the greatest orator of the late Republic. This volume is a remarkable collection of his works on rhetoric, in which he presents the canons of this complex discipline, its history and teaches how to use it.
