Prima edizione. Malouet, deputato del Terzo Stato, fra i capi della fazione realista, difende i sostenitori dell’aristocrazia che erano stati arrestati in seguito alla rivolta del 11-12 giugno 1790 ad Avignone, e che erano stati trasferiti a Orange, per evitare che fossero massacrati. Discorso tenuto nella Seduta di Dicembre 1790 dell’Assemblea Nazionale Costituente, come indicato nella “Collection des opinions de M. Malouet”, (Vol.3), pubblicata nel 1792. L’Autore, 1740-1814, politico e proprietario terriero, fu Consigliere del Re, direttore della Marina, inviato a Marsiglia nel 1780, Deputato del Terzo Stato di Riom negli Stati Generali, fondatore del Club des Impartiaux, emigrò in Inghilterra nel 1792. Fece ritorno in Francia nel 1801.

First edition. Malouet, deputy of the Third Estate, one of the leaders of the royalist faction, defends the supporters of the aristocracy who had been arrested following the revolt of June 11-12, 1790 in Avignon, and who had been transferred to Orange, to prevent them from being massacred . Speech given in the December 1790 Session of the National Constituent Assembly, as indicated in the “Collection des opinions de M. Malouet”, (Vol.3), published in 1792. The Author, 1740-1814, politician and landowner, was Counselor of the King, director of the Navy, sent to Marseilles in 1780, Deputy of the Third Estate of Riom in the States General, founder of the Club des Impartiaux, emigrated to England in 1792. He returned to France in 1801.
