Incisione su rame su carta vergellata. 125x2198 mm. Rifilata sull’impronta del rame. In basso a destra: “A FD Sculp’. Leggere macchiette.

Insieme con: LE PRINCE, Jean Baptiste. ‘Vue des environs de St Petersbourg’.

Incisione su rame su carta vergellata. 155x204 mm. Rifilata sulla cornice lineare. In basso a sinistra: “Le Prince 1764’. Manca il margine inferiore con La dedica a Monsieur de Mongeroux. Leggere macchiette.

Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Le Prince, 1734 - 1781, rinomato pittore e incisore, perfezionò la tecnica dell’acquatinta: nel 1758 fece un lungo viaggio in Russia.

Copperplate engraving on laid paper. 155x204 mm. Trimmed on the linear frame. Bottom left: “Le Prince 1764’. The lower margin with the dedication to Monsieur de Mongeroux is missing. Very slight stains.

Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Le Prince, 1734 - 1781, a renowned painter and engraver, perfected the aquatint technique: in 1758 he made a long trip to Russia.
