Due vedute architettoniche in coloritura coeva.

MAROT, Jean. Illustrissimi Excellentiss. et Generosiss Dn. Axelii Oxenstierna Regni Cancellarij Palatium Holmense… 
Incisione su rame con acquarellatura coeva. Su carta forte vergellata. 200x332 mm. Ampi margini. Titolo in alto, sopra lo stemma. Sotto l’immagine a destra ‘I. Marot Fecit’. Buona conservazione. 

Veduta del Palazzo Axel Oxenstierna, a Stoccolma. J. Marot, 1619-1679, fu architetto e incisore di vedute architettoniche di palazzi.

Insieme con: SWIDDE, Willem. Arx Laeckoo Versus Lacum Veneris.
Stoccolma. 1691
Incisione su rame con acquarellatura coeva. Su carta forte vergellata. 215x337 mm. Ampi margini. Titolo in alto al centro. Sotto l’immagine a sinistra ‘W. Swidde Sculp: Holmia 1691’. Buona conservazione. 

Splendida veduta del ‘Laeckoo Palace’ ad opera del disegnatore e incisore olandese, 1660-1697. 
Entrambe queste stampe furono inserite nella monumentale opera di Erik Dahlberg ‘Suecia antiqua et hodierna’, pubblicata a Stoccolma nella seconda metà del XVII e nei primi anni del XVIII secolo.

Copperplate engraving with contemporary watercolouring. On strong laid paper. 200x332 mm. Wide margins. Title at the top, above the coat of arms. Under the image on the right ‘I. Marot Fecit’. Good condition.

View of the Axel Oxenstierna Palace, in Stockholm. J. Marot, 1619-1679, was an architect and engraver of architectural views of palaces.

Copperplate engraving with contemporary watercolour. On strong laid paper. 215x337 mm. Wide margins. Titled top centre. Below the image on the left ‘W. Swidde Sculp: Holmia 1691’. Good condition.

Splendid view of the ‘Laeckoo Palace’ by the Dutch draughtsman and engraver, 1660-1697.
Both these prints were included in Erik Dahlberg’s monumental work ‘Suecia antiqua et hodierna’, published in Stockholm in the second half of the 17th and early 18th century.
