Bellissima incisione di grande profondità in cui oltre alle bellezze architettoniche e alla perizia di realizzazione delle imbarcazioni e delle figure, colpisce l’impatto della luce di un sole intenso che, oscurato da una torre circolare, squarcia le nuvole. Il titolo è attribuito sulla base dell'omonimo quadro di Claude Lorrain riprodotto nella stampa.
