An interesting section of atlases and Asian history is represented by the group of volumes focusing on Asia and China (lots 206-210) and Japanese woodcuts (lots 221-247).

Lots 249-250 focus on beautiful double-page plates on France (Description des Fetes données par la ville de Paris, 1740 and the 104 plates on Versailles and its gardens in a magnificent contemporary binding with coat of arms of the Marquis de Mereville).
