Made of wood painted with gold-paint and laquer-paint. 

Figure of Bodhisattva in lacquered and golden wood seated on lotus flower. Young Bodhisattva sitting in seiza, with the hands in the act of prayer, gassho mudra (in Sanskrit Anjali). Applied on a modern woodblock.
