Xilografia colorata a mano. Foglio di 520x380 mm. Margini e testo latino sul retro. Ottimo esemplare.

Questa rara mappa xilografica fu disegnata da Laurenz Fries nel 1522 sulla base di un modello di Martin Waldseemüller del 1513. Questa mappa proviene dall'edizione del 1541, pubblicata da Gaspar Trechsel a Lione nel 1541. Mostra il territorio della Turchia.
