5 Frammenti di manoscritti in pergamena dal XIV al XVI secolo.

1. Bibbia. Libro di Esdra. Capitolo V. Testo in latino.
Manoscritto membranaceo, seconda metà XIV secolo

Foglio di 225x188 mm. Specchio di scrittura 108x84 mm. Inchiostro nero. Scrittura in ‘littera textualis’. Tracce d’uso e qualche mancanza, ma il testo perfettamente leggibile.

Inc. [6]: [qui locutus est sub Dario rege Persarum] sermones mirificos, in secundo anno regni ipsius, mense nisan primo.
Expl. [12]: filii Demu duo milia quadringenti septuaginta, filii Chorab mille ducenti quinque, filii Baniae sescenti sexaginta octo, / [13] filii

Verso 
Inc. [31]: [fi] lii Agifa, filii Ariu, filii Faricin, filii Fasalom, / [32] filii Meedda, filii Fusa, filii Chared, filii Barchus, filii Sarea, filii Toesi, filii Nasit, filii Agifa, filii Pedon,
Expl. [39]: et vocati sunt nomine eius. et horum quaesita est generis scriptura in pedatura et non est inventa, et prohibiti sunt sacerdotio fungi.

Sono qui riportati due passi del Capitolo V del Libro di Esdra, ove si parla del ritorno degli Ebrei dall’esilio babilonese e vengono forniti gli elenchi con i nomi dei capifamiglia e il numero dei loro figli. I numeri sono espressi con lettere romane. 
Sul recto i paragrafi 6-12; sul verso i paragrafi 31-39. Scrittura in ‘littera textualis’ regolare e ordinata, molto simile a quella utilizzata nel XIV secolo nella Università di Bologna e di Parigi. Tracce d’uso e qualche mancanza, ma il testo perfettamente leggibile. 

2. Foglio membranaceo del XIV-XV secolo.
315x237 mm. Ripiegato Testo su recto e verso. Scrittura in gotico corsivo. Inchiostro seppia. Testo inquadrati in cornice lineare. In fine Iniziale rubricata in rosso e ornamenti con una croce templare e una decorazione lineare in rosso e verde.
3. Foglio membranaceo del 1350 ca.
240x510 mm. 
Testo sul recto. Ripiegato. Scrittura in gotico corsivo. Inchiostro seppia. 
4. Foglio membranaceo del XVI secolo.
375x198 mm. Ripiegato a busta, con lacci. Testo sul recto. Scrittura in gotico corsivo. Inchiostro seppia.
5. Foglio membranaceo del XVI secolo. 
200x325 mm. Ripiegato. Testo sul recto. Scrittura in gotico corsivo. Inchiostro seppia. Iscrizioni di mano diverse sul recto, con il disegno di un delfino e due nomi in lettere maiuscole, ‘Frances’ e ‘Nogues’.

Parchment manuscript, second half 4th century

Leaf of 225x188 mm. Written space 108x84 mm. Black ink. Regular and orderly ‘littera textualis’ writing. Traces of use and some missing parts, but the text is perfectly legible.

Here are two passages from Chapter V of the Book of Ezra, which speaks of the return of the Jews from the Babylonian exile and provides lists of the names of the heads of families and the number of their sons. The numbers are expressed with Roman letters.
On the recto are paragraphs 6-12; on the verso are paragraphs 31-39. Regular and orderly ‘littera textualis’ writing, very similar to that used in the 14th century in the Universities of Bologna and Paris.


2. Parchment sheet from the 14th-15th century.
315x237 mm. Folded Text on the recto and verso. Writing in cursive Gothic. Sepia ink. Text framed in a linear frame. At the end Rubric Initial in red and ornaments with a Templar cross and a linear decoration in red and green.
3. Parchment sheet from around 1350.
240x510 mm. Text on the front. Folded. Writing in cursive Gothic. Sepia ink.
4. Parchment sheet from the 16th century.
375x198 mm. Folded like an envelope, with laces. Text on the front. Writing in cursive Gothic. Sepia ink.
5. Parchment sheet from the 16th century.
200x325 mm. Folded. Text on the front. Writing in cursive Gothic. Sepia ink. Different handwritten inscriptions on the recto, with a drawing of a dolphin and two names in capital letters, ‘Frances’ and ‘Nogues’.
