Three very rare illuminated leaves, on parchment, from a 13th century French Bible. The passages reported are important: Genesis, 4:22-7:9; 21:19-24:37, which speaks of the descent of Adam and Eve: in verse 26 the birth of Seth, father of Enos, the founder of the Patriarchs; Nehemiah, 4:15-7:7, referring to the defense against Israel's enemies.
