Stampa raffigurante il flagello della peste inflitto da Dio ai Filistei per aver rubato l'arca dell'alleanza: in una piazza davanti ad un tempio, un gruppo di uomini, donne e bambini si agita davanti a cadaveri di appestati. Alcuni si tappano il naso per il puzzo che emana dai corpi, altri in secondo piano si accalcano davanti al tempio presso il quale è deposta l'arca dell'alleanza rubata. I topi attraversano le strade ingombre di cadaveri.

Print depicting the plague inflicted by God on the Philistines for having stolen the Ark of the Covenant: in a square in front of a temple, a group of men, women and children are agitated in front of the corpses of plague victims. Some hold their noses because of the stench emanating from the bodies, others in the background crowd in front of the temple where the stolen Ark of the Covenant is placed. Rats cross the streets cluttered with corpses.
