Edizione rara del noto volgarizzamento per merito di Braccio Fiorentino di questo celebre classico. Alessandro Braccio (o Braccesi) fu illustre letterato, poeta, notaio e uomo politico nato a Firenze nel 1445 e morto a Roma nel 1503. L'opera di Appiano, storico greco vissuto a Roma, ca. 100-170 d.C., ebbe il merito di mutare l'usuale struttura annalistica della storiografia.

Rare edition of the well-known popularization of this famous classic by Braccio Fiorentino. Alessandro Braccio (or Braccesi) was an illustrious man of letters, poet, notary and politician born in Florence in 1445 and died in Rome in 1503. The work of Appian, a Greek historian who lived in Rome, ca. 100-170 AD, had the merit of changing the usual annalistic structure of historiography.
